While store shelves have long been filled with the new 2025 reformulation, which has almost nothing left in common with the original Homme DNA, prices on marketplaces for a vintage 75 ml bottle of the 2014 version start at €300 and will only continue to rise over time. In my surge of interest in iris materials, I decided to study them in more detail by recreating this vintage.
I once heard a saying: “What’s the difference between a dude and a man? A dude smells like a dude, but a man smells like a woman…”. This perfume is exactly about that — the scent of a woman on a man. But unlike the subtle, lipstick-like femininity of Homme Intense, this one still remains a man thanks to its leather and woody notes.
Olfactory profile: floral, woody, leathery, sweet.
Concentration: parfum.
