Order a custom compound

I will check whether an analysis of your desired fragrance is available in my database. If it is, I’ll proceed to examine the composition. During this process, I verify the availability of all necessary ingredients required for reproduction, and finally determine the price of the compound.

If certain ingredients are missing, I take the time to source them in order to achieve the most accurate and faithful result possible. This may affect the final delivery time and price. Once the timeframe and cost are agreed upon, I begin creating the concentrate. Depending on the complexity of the composition, the time required to create the concentrate may vary, but in most cases, this is the shortest stage of the entire process and usually takes no more than a few hours.

Once the concentrate is created, the maturation stage begins. This is the process of allowing a fragrance concentrate to age after the initial blending and before dilution, typically in a cool, dark place. This aging period, which can last from a few weeks to several months, helps the different fragrance notes harmonize and integrate, resulting in a more balanced, smoother, and richer scent. From my experience 2 weeks is enough time for this process.

After the concentrate has matured, I dilute it to the desired concentration in alcohol and let it sit another 2 weeks for maceration. The alcohol in the perfume acts as a solvent, helping to extract volatile compounds from the fragrance oils and allowing them to blend and interact. During maceration, chemical reactions can occur between the ingredients, further altering and enhancing the fragrance.
