Tony Iommi Monkey Special

Originally created in honor of Black Sabbath’s heavy metal guitarist Tony Iommi, the fragrance turned out as heavy and meaty as Tony’s riffs from his SG guitar. This is one of those rare cases where the composition smells of everything listed in the pyramid. Dark and gloomy tones of leather, patchouli, and labdanum are sweetened in the base with vanilla and caramel, all submerged in soft sandalwood.

The successful example of Baraonda proved that where there is a note of strong alcohol, there must also be a rose. Here, the rose accord is built on geranium, phenylethyl alcohol, and the extremely expensive Turkish rose oil, whose spicy character is accentuated by cinnamon.

What makes the alcohol note here different from all the others is the sour and tropical nuance of passion fruit. It would seem that all possible contrasts are already present in the composition — the only thing missing would be a note of cocaine.
